Required Qualifications:
Requires Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent scientific degree with a minimum of ten years experience in the engineering design and procurement of chemical process systems.
Senior process engineer with demonstrated technical leadership and management experience of a group of engineers.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to plan and manage budget and schedule.
Related experience with design of nuclear chemical processing at DOE or US NRC facilities is highly desirable (e.g. Purex, Fissile material blending/ conversion, HLW processing).
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of chemical, utilities, and chemical reagent preparation process design.
Knowledge of aqueous process applications such as dissolution, solvent extraction, precipitation and calcination.
Nuclear facility experience at DOE or US NRC facilities.
Knowledge of solvent extraction process and nuclear fuel processing (Purex), U/Pu/Actinide chemistry.
Knowledge of PDS modeling and PlantSmart Interactive Review programs a plus, but not mandatory
