Required Qualifications:
Bachelor´s Degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related degree with a minimum of 12 years experience in structural engineering, with a minimum of 6 years specific seismic qualification and finite element analysis/related experience.
Must have a working knowledge of National Codes and Standards such as ASME, ASCI, ASTM, and ANSI standards.
Proficiency in ANSYS software or similar experience that can be applied in learning ANSYS is required for modeling positions.
Must be organized, technically competent, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and an effective skill with commonly available software programs (Microsoft Office, MathCAD, etc.).
Desired Qualifications:
Graduate degree in Structural or Mechanical engineering.
Previous experience in working in a multi-discipline design team environment is preferred.
Experience with conveyors and lifts, equipment associated with product transportation systems and automated manufacturing systems; powder transport systems; and high accuracy/tight tolerance manufacturing activities and/or glovebox design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD 14 (or higher), Solidworks, and/or Pro-E is highly desired.
General familiarity with NEC, ASCI, OSHA, etc. is also desired.
