Responsible for performing engineering, design, and analysis of Category I steel and concrete structures, concrete anchorage of equipment and components.
Perform engineering analyses and designs with general management and supervisory direction.Develop and check analyses, drawings and specifications, technical reports, and documentation of results.
Understand and apply QA procedures relating to project planning, analyses, specifications and software. Immediate tasks will be field construction support as it relates to the design of embedments for concrete anchorage of equipment, structures, and components per requirements of ACI-349-01 Appendix B.
Other tasks include the design of steel structures and components, cranes & monorails, and support of construction and procurement activities.
Good planning, communication and organization skills.
Understanding of regulatory requirements for engineering, analysis and design of safety-related structures, especially concrete anchorage ofembedments.
Excellent familiarity with ACI, AISC, ASCE 4 & 7 building design codes and standards. Working knowledge of and understanding of interfaces with other engineering disciplines required.
Desire minimum of 5-years experience after award of Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline.Lesser experience levels will be considered depending on experience and salary requirements.
